I just posted the same thing. So Gresham's forward progress was stopped so it's a catch but CJ catches it in the end zone (forward progress should be over immediately) and it's no catch.

Both announcers thought it was no catch as well. I hate the nfl.

It was really the exact same play...except you could argue Calvin's was more of a catch because he was actually getting up to celebrate his catch when the ball came loose and Gresham used the ball to brace his fall.

BTW I think both should actually be catches for sure. This complete the process stuff is ridiculous in both situations. But if Calvin's was NOT a catch then Gresham's should NOT be a catch either.

Comes down to the feet and when contact was made. The Gresham catch his feet hit before he is contacted then he is taken to the ground. The calvin catch he is contacted in the air then goes to the ground. That is why the calls were different.
