5 runs is about 1 win

Rajai Davis would be 2.9 Wins below Median and 2.2 Wins below Average.

Anthony Gose would be 4.7 Wins below Median and 4.0 Wins below Average.

just curious...you take the difference between two players then divide by 5 and that is the difference between the two in terms of wins?

Yup. Or the difference between median and/or average.

And it is Runs Created per 650 Plate Appearances (expressed in runs) plus Ultimate Zone Rating (UZR) / 150 games (also expressed in runs).

This way, it factors defense and offense collectively.

UZR/150 is designed to be Zero at league average. So, for average, you can just use RC/650.

Also, a player like Denard Span would be about 30 runs better than A. Gose based on the last 3 years. That 30 runs is about 6 wins, maybe 1 win less due to regression.
