Awkward

Hes the real deal, in 3 weeks he took them from 3oth in recruiting to 7th. Hes already taken a horrible Stanford program from the depths of despair to a contender in 3 years. Nobody is on OSU's level at this point and its quite likely nobody will in the next few years but Michigan is going to be Michigan again in the next 2-3 years.

That's been my feeling since even before the hire, but man, what a putz. "Uhh, Ahhh, I don't know, Uhh. Ahhh." Maybe Chump is right and these coaches really are dumbasses. Some more than others, obviously.

Those were some pretty dumb questions - I think Cowherd bombed worse than Harbaugh for most of it. I have nothing against Harbaugh and think Cowherd is a tool so maybe that taints my view but to me it seemed Harbaugh's brief responses were his way of letting him know the questions were stupid. Who needs Colin Cowherd to sell their program? Who does he think he is? He's worse than Joe Buck. f that guy.

What part of the day are you at your least intense?
Is there ever a moment in your day where you're just like "ugh, I just don't have it in me?"
Do you ever wonder why chocolate ice cream is so much better than vanilla?

get the f out of here cowherd, you suck.

Harbaugh is...a pretty weird guy. Aspergers?

If he can get UM to go 6-6 this season he'll have performed a minor miracle. I think the Walmart Nation and actual Wolverines are starting to see why Harbaugh has worn out his welcome at SF and beyond.

I havent' looked at the michigan board about this but i'm sure they are all saying Cowherd is a douche and habaugh dominated

Dubbs is taking a reasoned approach. He may be the only one.

I have never met him but a few people i'm close to grew up with him and lived with him at Michigan, they said that he's always been difficult and stand off-ish, maybe that part of him is getting worse with age. He's rubbed administrators the wrong way in the past and it could create problems in AA. I don't think this comes as a surprise to anyone though

I'll take the over on 6 wins. There are only 2 games on their schedule (OSU, MSU) that are most likely losses, 4 maybe 6 easy wins (UNLV, MD, RU, IU and maybe Or St or NW), that leaves up to 6, maybe 4 coin tosses which should yield 7 to 9 wins.

Edit: probably 3-5 coin tosses, based on early press PSU is probably less than a coin toss but winnable.

Here is an article that has the Vegas odds for Big 10 win totals

UM is 7.5 with -125 to bet the under.

To me, in his public personae, which is probably what he's like off camera, he comes off as "task oriented" or "task focused," which can probably make one seem a little aloof or stand offish.

Like the Cowherd interview was a "task," although it was just chatting about what Cowherd was asking him about, which isn't really doing a task, it's chatting, which Harbaugh kind isn't focused on; he likes stuff with a purpose.

So to try to pretend to out of the (Go) Blue "sell" Michigan to an imaginary recruit that Cowherd is pretending to be, it isn't a task, not really, and I can see Harbaugh not seeing the purpose in it.

All the coaches that Cowherd mentioned that he claimed "sell" their programs to Cowherd more effectively, I think that's Cowherd blowing his own horn; I doubt a single high school prospect listens to the Colin Cowherd show to figure out what coach he wants to play for; aren't they all walking around with head phones listening to beats, and stuff, instead?

Harbaugh apparently recruited really well at Stanford; I don't know if he was at San Diego long enough to have a record of recruiting success.

I expect he'll have success recruiting at Michigan; but not doing it on the Colin Cowherd show on the radio;but doing it the old fashioned way and stuff.

As far as rubbing people the wrong way, he probably can, but he has one boss, and one boss's boss at Michigan; those are pretty much the only people who matter except for the ACs and players, and at the college level anyway, they all seem to have loved him in the past.

I actually just watched it now. I was like that a few times after smoking some kind bud years ago.
