Supposedly there's going to be an announcement today at 4 that is going to impact the conference. Adding new team(s), reallignment, new division names? Don't really know...

On the Scout premium message board, plus another board I look at. Supposedly they were talking about it on WTKA this morning too, that's where the Ohio* to October speculation came from. 9 game schedule is also being thrown around.

Well I seen where ohio* wanted to play Hawaii late next season. After the UM game to simulate a bowl.

I doubt its to big, or other stuff would of been leaked by now.

Who knows how big it will be, but it's supposedly going to impact the entire conference. I do think adding teams can be ruled out. You're right, something like that would have leaked for sure with all the different parties involved.

Maybe the Big Ten is going to kick OSU out of the conference, and make them join the MAC.

I know what it is. Arizona is joining the Big Ten.

That's pretty funny.

I heard that the B10 has called a news conference to give Herb a platform to express his deep, heartfelt gratitude to the fans of Ohio*, but that in order to focus on family, his health and his burgeoning career as an electric and magnetic Tv personality, that he is stepping down from the Ohio* head coaching position.

I was not all that far off. RR gets his wish, but too far away in years to ensure that he'll even be around to coach against Michigan.

Is this the 1st step towards a 4 conf agreement that will result in a "National Championship" game limited to those 4 confs? If the SEC partnered with someone (who?) in a similar fashion, it could be possible. No more BCS nonsense...

I was thinking that too. Karma will have RichRod getting fired at the end of 2016.

It seemed like the Pac-whatever has been down in basketball, but I wanted to check the rankings to be sure. Uhh, yeah. Nobody ranked this year. #9 AZ and #23 Washington last year, and only #21 Washington the year before. I hope this doesn't take the place of the Big Ten-ACC challenge, especially now that we're starting to actually win some, but I'm guessing it will.

In football it makes sense and aligns the two conferences, with the existing history of the Rose Bowl tie-in. Plus, the SEC would go to 32 if it could and secede from the rest of CFB.

the next phase of making arrangements - this includes other sports - it will set up some rivalries and is establishing strong parternership

PAc12 gets more out of us than Big 10 in my opinion
