Barry and Desmond in running for NCAA game

Former Heisman winners -- and former Lions -- Desmond Howard and Barry Sanders are still in the running to join current winner Robert Griffin III on the EA Sports "NCAA Football 13" video game cover.

One of the old-timers will be chosen in -- what else -- bracket-style voting at facebook.com/easportsncaafootball.

Howard -- who beat Ohio State's Eddie George last week, like a good Michigan Man -- is going up against Herschel Walker this week for a spot in the finals.

The other semifinal pits Oklahoma State's Sanders -- who beat Houston's Andre Ware, another former Lion -- against Boston College's Doug Flutie.

barry has been on a cover of a game before, right? maybe mid 90's madden? i know desmond was on ncaa 99 i think.
