Basketball team is very road tested!

One thing that should help this team come tourney time is how road tested they are. If we assume that PSU finishes 6th that will mean we played every team on the road that finished in the top 6 in the standings. We also played road games @UNC and @Texas in out of conference.

Where as if you look at MSU's schedule they only had to play one of the top 6 teams on the road @OSU which they lost. And they did not play any true road games in the non conference schedule. They did play some neutral site games losing to Duke and beating UNC.

Nobody plays true road games in the tournaments, so not sure how it really helps us more than anybody else?

Maybe not true road games nut you may have to play Duke or UNC in Greensboro and MSU at LCA or other regional sites with teams from that area so I do think it helps. Michigan has won several games this year where they probably shouldnt have won but they battled and hung in there. That all helps.

Well we lost @UNC, lost @Purdue, lost @Nebraska, lost @OSU and even lost @NW. We won a nice one obviously @MSU, but that's about the only great road win we have all year. Texas and Penn State are bubble teams at best, and will probably be on the outside looking in. Wisconsin and Iowa both are pretty bad teams.

Not trying to downplay Michigan's season, as it's been a very nice one so far. I just don't view their road performance as some indication that they will fair well in the tournament against top seeds.

Not at all.

Just means they didn't generally test that well.
