Well, considering what happened last weekend, there are sure to be some top 14 teams going to fall this coming saturday

Just from looking at it at these teams could go down and Michigan could jump ahead of them:
#6 Stanford vs. Notre Dame(Could easily be an upset)
#8 Houston at Tulsa(Biggest test of their season)
#9 Oklahoma vs. Iowa St.(Not likely but Iowa St. looked real good)
#11 Kansas State(Don't even play)
#12 South Carolina vs. Clemson(Clemson is gonna be angry and want the W)
#13 Georgia at Georgia Tech(I got money on this one)

It's a friggin joke that Oklahoma is still top ten. Just another reminder that the BCS has no credibility.

Also look at the Champ games. Either Wiscy or MSU will get tagged with another loss. Then you have Okla and Okla St playing. Va Tech plays Clemson. Although we just need to win the rest will take care of itself.

Its not next week that we can move up a lot, its the week after. When everybody is playing their conf champ games.

i would LOVE a houston match up. ALTHOUGH - i dont think we would fair too hot against a good passing team. We need to play a team with a mobile QB and then I like our chances.

We would absolutely kill Houston. We would slow the game down and kill them slowly.

I think that's a product of the teams behind them also sucking. I mean Michigan is in the top 15 - and I sure wouldn't want to face Oklahoma. I think they belong in the top ten despite their losses; especially because of the flukeyness of Baylor's win. That catch where it tipped up to a wide open receiver is something you just can't protect against.

Thats like saying Wisconsin should be ranked high because of the flukiness of their two losses. Do you think MSU could repeat, the same heroics they pulled off, and the bullshit tip pass?

I guess. But I think most people agree Oklahoma is one of the better two loss teams. Beyond the top of the BCS there are just a lot of two loss teams and some of them have to be near the top.

Okay, BCS standings:

MSU 14
UM 15
UW 16
PSU 19

So, let's say Michigan beats Ohio soundly, MSU loses to NW, and PSU beats UW (or vice versa for that matter). Would that put Michigan higher in the BCS rankings than either of the teams playing for the conference championship? That would seem rather strange wouldn't it? I guess the situation would probably only last until after the Big 10 championship game, as the winner would probably jump up over Michigan. Or would they? If MSU loses to NW, but wins the championship, they would have 3 losses (2 to teams that Michigan beat, and one in which they failed to even score a TD) compared to Michigan's 2 losses (in very competitive games). LOL!

Focus on beating Ohio!!

PSU might jump Michigan if that happens. Who knows really. All depends on the voters but yes theoretically that could happen and Michigan could be the highest ranked Big Ten team.

Seems potentially possible for B1G to not have a single top 10 team this year, and I hate to say it but based on the B1G's weak performance all around, that isn't unreasonable.

What I DO find incredibly unrealistic is the 3 - yes THREE - SEC teams at the top. Seriously, the SEC does not have 3 teams better than all other teams in the nation. Even though it is quite evident the final rankings won't have that going on, it is just BS. I can see 2 teams, but no conference should ever have 3 at the top. At that point the rankings are just showcasing how big of a joke they have become. It sure would be delicious for the SEC to lose all of their bowl games.

All I know is I'm rooting for Wisconsin this week. No way I want PSU representing the B1G.

That, and I don't want MSU to win the big ten.

I agree. The scandal at PSU is not quieting down in the least. If anything it is getting worse by the day. It is a terrible situation. I think even PSU fans could see this. If PSU were to go to the Big 10 championship, it would be bad, but if they won it would be the worst possible scenario. It would be embarrassing to the conference this year and forever taint the championship. I hope someone is thinking about what is best for the conference.

Pretty sure the media would love to see PSU win it all so they can hype up the way the players overcame such incredible adversity, blah, blah, blah. They would have the best of both worlds, being able to repeatedly dredge up the sickness of those events while getting in those "feel good" moments as well. An absolute Ratings Bonanza for the networks, especially if people tune in to watch PSU either because they want PSU to lose due to the events or they want PSU to win so they can have that "feel good" thing for the PSU players.
