best and worst unis...per wsj article

The college football season isn't quite in the books yet, but one thing is for certain: 2011 was a year of high fashion crimes and misdemeanors.

While sartorial stalwarts like Alabama and Penn State maintained the looks they've kept for generations, a growing number of programs from Maryland to Oregon decided it was time to tweak the time-honored taboos of uniform fashion. They did this by suiting up in wild shoe-company-designed uniforms that smelled, to many fans, like naked ploys for attention.

Ever-changing Oregon; Maryland's controversial duds; underrated Colorado; Virginia Tech's unconventional color scheme; classic Michigan.
..To sort out which college uniforms really do have fashion credibility

How the hell do the colorado's unis look scary? The only thing I really agreed with was about michigan.

When it comes to the modern unis, wash st might be my favorite. The dark silver ones.

They are designers, creative directors and art directors, and their comments don't read like they are football fans.

But what really pushed Michigan to the top was its iconic winged helmet, which received near-universal praise for its creativity.

"Anyone that uses it, no matter what color you put it in, it's Michigan," said Anthony Coleman, the managing editor of the fashion and street culture blog SlamxHype. "You can use it, but realize that you're stealing from Michigan."

And it ain't gonna happen.

Too bad.

Of course I read that and thought it unnecessary to point out that the Winged Helmet with the Home Uniform is sooooo much better than the Winged Helmet with the Visiting Uniform, as this article was strictly about the Homes, not Aways, which are only white and maize and therefore, according to their judment of most uniforms, just another boring combination, not bad mind you, but nothing to write home about, which you could because you'd be away from home when you saw them.

How's that for a run-on?

I was kidding you Man.

Really I don't think there is enough contrast between the VA Tech home colors and our team's home colors to actually make both teams wearing home colors workable.

Not that I wanna come off like one of them WSJ fashion editors.

But I am in fabulous shape.

Also I didn't really understand really what you really just posted.

Really.

Really.

That's what I was shooting for; If you can't dazzle them with facts, baffle them with BS.
