Simple question...

What was the best finish?

Browns @ Lions - Stafford's rookie year. Fucked up his shoulder at the end of the game. Heroically came in for the final play, throwing a touchdown for the win.

Cowboys @ Lions - This past Sunday's game. Do I need to explain what happened? 1 minute left. Zero timeouts. 80 yard drive. Two pin point passes. An incredible mind to sneak the ball instead of spiking it.

Personally, for me, it was the Cowboys game. Stafford was spot on and made 2 incredible throws, elite throws actually. A game like this one further proves he's our guy. That ending was EPIC.

Im not knocking the Cleveland game though because that was something special too. To me, that game won the hearts of a lot of Lions fans and gained the trust of the players by Stafford being so courageous and tough.

In the end, 2 great finishes but the Dallas game edges out the Cleveland game.

Dallas game, just because it was a more meaningful game

One proved he had the heart and guts to lead the Lions, the other proved he had the arm and poise to lead the Lions. I can't really choose without feeling like I'm wrong.

Cowboys game

Because the end was all Stafford, nailed all his throws and managed to fool everyone on the last snap to score the winning TD...drove the field 80 yards in about 50 seconds.

In the Cleveland game, if the defenders don't make a bonehead penalty on the 2nd to last play, we lose...and what kdp said, a 1-8 Lions team facing a 1-8 Cleveland team.

Cowboys game.

Just because the throws he made to Durham and CJ were sick, I mean no one but the elite QBs in the NFL make those throws. And of course the guts and smarts to score that TD.

Cowboys game is too crazy not to pick. Rivals the crazyness of that Michigan vs Notre Dame game a few years ago.

Gotta go with Cowboys game. I think the meaning is just really something special. One showed he was a rookie qb with a ton of poise and skill. The other showed that this team has the ability to make amazing things happen with a qb who is approaching elite status. Something I have never seen this team have. That game and that ending against Dallas will be something talked about outside of Detroit and its fans.

Cowboy's game hands down. The Browns game relied on luck (PI call). The cowboy game was skill, topped off with us outsmarting our opponent (were usually on the other side of these). The kicker is that our starting QB wasn't lost to an injury.

Not just "will be" but has been and still is a HOT viral sports topic online ever since the game ended.

Plus we really have two cowboy games we can throw in there.. The Comeback at Dallas two years ago was something.. This question I like Sunday's Cowboy game.

that game 2 years ago was served up on a silver platter. This game was only served up on a paper plate. I was surprised that the Cowboys ran the ball on 2nd and 13 when they had no success throughout the game running the ball.
