Boys may hire Linehan

his offense really didn't even look like a linehan offense anymore as of late. linehan has always been known for his deep passing attack whether it be moss or CJs early years. Everything last year was short and get the ball out quick. Dunno if it was the best thing he thought for Stafford, because of CJs knee or due to the WR corps he had....but it was awful. Dez can make linehan look like linehan again to tell you the truth.

When he did throw deep especially late in the season he couldn't do it. That's on Matt. If anything helps Linehan it's Romo.

Rofl. You give me the option of Stafford or Romo.... I go Staff 10/10.

So you know Romo was way better than Matt last year eh? And the year before..and he had a good 2011 too. I'm curious why you think Matt is better?

the fact we keep having to talk about 2011...3 frikken years ago....when we talk about Stafford pretty much means hes not consistently good.

If someone means the future, maybe, Matt is younger. And we criticize Romo for some late game foul ups but overall he's a better QB now. And has been for a career.

its really not possible to fuck up as many 4th quarters as we did this year....so if anyone on here wants to laugh at romos 4th quarter heroics than they are automatically throwing staff under the bus....cause he was much much worse in the 2nd half and the 4th qtr this year.

I agree but I'm trying not to be too confrontational. It's my new thing, lol.

Lets just hope that Stafford shows some marked improvement next season, b/c the Lions still have a lot of years and $$$ invested in him. If he doesn't then they may still have to start Matt until maybe the last year or two of his extended contract that runs through the...gulp... '17 season.

"The Lions didn't do much of that last year, losing their last eight games to flop to a 4-12 record after a 10-win season."

"Stafford said he's eager for training camp to begin so he and the Lions can work to erase the memory of last year's disappointing results."

"You know, I feel great physically and mentally ready to go. I know all the guys are. You know, we're excited to get back out there as a team and kind of get the bad taste out of our mouth from last year and I'm going to be the one spearheading the charge and getting this going in the right direction," he said.

Well...looks like Matt and his teammates will need to use more mouthwash next season, since things didn't exactly go quite far enough in the right direction in '13...

I think once they get over the anger of blowing the season and disappointment of losing their coach....they'll come to realize they are in a much better place with gym linehan and Gunther gone. We were quick to jump on Schwartz for running an undisciplined team....we will see if it truly is the coach or the collection of players on this team that should have taken the blame.

The only thing Stafford successfully spearheaded in the offseason is a Keg top. The only thing he lead the charge to last summer was some sorority girl's bikini bottom.

God bless that kid.

Romo career qb rating: 95.8 5th all time
Stafford career qb rating: 83.1 33rd all time, currently behind 16 active QBs including Shaun hill.

Isn't he one of the top qbs in the fourth quarter as well?

dallas doesn't have the same wind as Detroit does....not a fair comparison.

Lower annual relative humidity average: 72% (Detroit)vs 65% (Dallas)...as well as elevation from sea level, +531' (Detroit) vs +731' (Dallas) got to keep all potential mitigating factors in mind when making that QB comparison.
