NFL DRAFT 2016
NFL Draft 2016: Best players available after Round 3
The story of the third day of the draft will be where quarterbacks land, with Connor Cook in the forefront.

One of the key storylines people always follow on the third day of the draft is where quarterbacks go. That will be no different with the third day of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Chief among those available is Michigan State's Connor Cook. Six quarterbacks are gone, and it's a surprise Cook isn't among them. Ohio State's Cardale Jones is a project, but a good one for a signal caller.
In addition to quarterback, there are several good running backs available. Players like Alex Collins and Jonathan Williams of Arkansas and Paul Perkins of UCLA could push for starting jobs in the NFL if they land in the right situation.
Another surprising player who is still on the board is Baylor defensive tackle Andrew Billings. Some considered him a potential first-round pick earlier this month, and second-rounder if nothing else. He had 5.5 sacks for the Bears last season. He's also pretty athletic for a 310-pound interior lineman. Billings might be more limited as a pass rusher in the NFL, but he has all the makings of a starter on a defensive line.
Somehow there are still other good Ohio State players remaining, including linebacker Joshua Perry and safety Tyvis Powell.
