Bradford out for year with torn acl....again

That's really too bad for him. Not a bad player, but has really struggled to stay healthy

He's actually a solid player, imo. He was having a nice season last year before he got hurt and now this..too bad. I thought the Rams could be shooting for the playoffs this year..

Shaun Hill will keep them competitive, tough division though. I'd rather have Hill than Dan O and 16

True but Hill doesn't seem to have much arm strength anymore. I could see a lot of dinking and dunking.

Tavon Austin could have a great year with Hills accuracy on the short passes

I'm not energetic enough to go back and look up the old posts, but when Hill signed with St. Louis, I made the comment on these boards that it was the smart choice, because with Bradford there, Hill would be the starter pretty early in the season.

And AYUP... he's the starter. I feel bad for Bradford, odds are the kids career is pretty well over by this point. But Hill put himself in a position to finally be a season long starter, and it was in fact a good move for him.

With the money he made he could ride off into the sunset, but if he wanted he could be a solid backup.

The more interesting story actually becomes whether the Rams cut Bradford. This was supposed to be his make or break year, and he's already broken. Bradford has played like a solid backup in his career so far, and St. Louis is probably ready to find something better.

It sucks for Bradford, obviously, but there wasn't a lot of evidence to suggest he was going to break out anyway.

He was having a nice year last season before he got hurt. But of course injuries. He might not make another big paycheck but he could comeback and be a backup somewhere..
