call me nuts....but id give chad johnson a shot. Hes not the diva he once was....hes not the player he once was....but i think hed be great opposite calvin with thomas in the slot. That guy....diva as he once was....knows the mistake he made when he beat his wife and is hungry to get a 2nd chance and prove what he has left. I think the last 2 years has humbled him and for the 4 games we have left this season.....it wouldnt be a distraction. Hed view it as an audition....wed use him as a rental....itd be a win win.

I dont understand all the hate on whitehead. So what they traded a fourth round pick for him. The kid has played well on special teams as has the Lewis. More than likely those two will see significant playing time at LB next year. If you like a guy in the draft and you want him sometimes the value works out in the eyes of the staff. Its the principle....you dont see good teams continue to trade away picks so they can select garbage. If good teams trade up its usually to select a lock. We trade up for the likes of best, leshoure, whitehead. Trade a 4th for mike Thomas. Did we move up for Titus? Cant remember. Anyways.....weve lost a bunch of picks and have nothing but garbage to show for it. Hence 4-8.

lost a lot of value in the 4th as well. went from the top of the 4th to the bottom. your still missing the point...we continue to give up vallue and get nothing in return. call it a curse....call it mayhew blows.....call it whatever you want. But the bottom line is we dont draft well, we dont coach up players, we draft luxory picks when were not a very good team and have a ton of holes, and we throw away value it seems every year. It all adds up to not being a very good team.
