Broken Heart

My soul hurts.

We plan trips to see the team for a fun diversion.

But Life otherwise now is better without Michigan football, so why bother?

It's that idiotic NFL "complete the catch" rule that is now enforced in college too. It's like you have to eat the ball and crap it out your butt for a catch to be valid.

THIS is hilarious. Thank you for bettering my night.

Even the game announcers and postgame panel said it was a catch. Yeah, they still had to continue the drive to win the game, but they weren't given that opportunity. And I don't understand why the refs didn't just review it. Why did they force Hoke to call the challenge? That call where the Rutgers receiver made the catch with one foot in that was called an incomplete was reviewed without a challenge.

The B1G will make an official review and issue an official apology for the officials getting it wrong.

I mean even if the review was called right we still had to win the game.. Not like a FG was going to easy even closer... Needed more urgency and a darn TD...

True but we would have been in better position

It would have been first down.

Oh well

I wonder why the official call on the Darboh pass was incomplete when the initial call was complete.

We got fucked on a few calls and a far more controversial call is being described as Ole Miss' greatest ever.

But in life you make your own luck, so ....

Well, at least the O scored some touchdowns. That is an improvement. Too bad the D played so poorly.

You guys got hosed on that 3rd and 8 with 3 minutes left. I was at a wedding in aa so they didn't have the msu game on hut I thought it was a catch.

Didn't get to heat the explanation but it should have been 1st and 10

Was a very tough call but when you hear the explanation and watch the play with that perspective, it's legit. I don't like the rule but unless changed, it is the rule.

Well, at least teams from the metro Detroit area have not been disproportionately fucked over by that dumb ass rule.

wll some players tweeted when they got home - trying to say okay next up PSu

funchess and fleet i think - trying to keep some semblance of focus and goal

There was this episode of South Park where Cartman shoved food up his ass and crapped it out of his mouth.

Then everybody started doing it.

That said, neither eating nor crapping would probably be considered a "valid football move."

So even if the Michigan receiver had eaten the ball inbounds, and crapped it out his butt on the sideline, the pass still probably would have been ruled incomplete.

I disagree.. Eating the ball shows possession...complete pass...

I think they need to clarify it then...because thus far, I don't think it's specifically covered in the rules...

Probably for the NFL too...especially for any receiver who happens to be Muslim...

Its a matter of time, Michigan football will be back. These years do suck, John L Smith years were quite similar.

LMFAO...awesome post!

I will add though that the rule will likely state you have to wipe your ass while still in bounds if you are from the Detroit Metro area, and any shit hitting the ground will result in an incompletion because you didn't maintain possession throughout the entire process of the catch.
