That's what I was referring to in terms of Twitter ... people who seemed happy about it - like the negative nancy who is finally proven right when the team loses it's first game..

"See!!! Told you so!!"

Kind of what im expecting in EL next year for football.

You mean negative nancy sparties after the Harbaugh lead Wolverines give state a beat down?

Actually meant um saying "yeah see i told you we'd win" after saying that for quite some time now. We shall see:nod:

turd, I know Obama has turned out to be a big disappointment for you but maybe this picture he posed for with one of your favorite racist, totalitarian, marxist mass murderer heroes in the background will make up for his shortcomings...

that is a pretty great picture.

you've been saying since 2009 he was a communist. looks like you were right

I knew you would like it. You're welcome pal.

But I have a request - show me one time where I said Obama was a communist. Never happened.

Edit: by the way, I joined DSF in 2013 but why let facts get in the way of a good smear?

Panic in Detroit?

That does look a lot like Che Guevara, now that you mention it.

It's still a great song, even if it is about a bunch of idiots. I've adapted the interpretation to a far more useful purpose - I listen to it before watching every game 7 or elimination game the Red Wings played since the early 90s.

By the way, if in the 80s someone told you that in 2016 David Bowie would be dead but Keith Richards would still be alive, would you believe it?

When Michigan plays OSU, do you secretly wish Michigan was the team wearing red?

Funny you mention because I've always thought that between the red and typically dismal, gray skies, that every OSU marching band/display resembles some USSR, E German or N Korean military exhibition.

no. blue is my favorite color, and I am not actually a communist.

to me, their band always had a Hitler-youth, fascist thing going on with the uniforms and marches. but I guess all displays of totalitarian extremism look the same, be they leftist/communist or right-wing/fascist.

I'm going to pretend you didn't say that and continue to believe that you are wearing a replica KGB officer's hat while you post.

last time we were there, I took a picture in front of the great Lenin statue in my wife's hometown while holding my UM Flag that I brought specifically for that occasion.

the statue has since been pulled down by Ukrainian nationalists.

I was going to submit it to the alumni magazine (you know how they post pictures people send them of themselves posing in maize and blue around the world), but I thought some jackasses might brand me a communist for that. fuck it. maybe I'll still do it.

this reminds me i need to update my address and re-up my membership.

You got to give it to him, McCarthy did a bang up job in the 50's. The Red Scare is even alive and well over a half century later.

he had plenty of help from nutjob reactionaries in the John Birch Society, the army, the FBI, and CIA.

The communists are still after our precious bodily fluids.

I'd be willing to bet there a lot of Cuban Americans upset by the tone deafness of our President posing for this photo. It has nothing to do with fear of a communist takeover or the legacy of McCarthy. The guy is a disgrace to the office.
