this is reminding me of the day RichRod was fired, which was one of the happiest days of my life.

In retrospect I guess I've come to believe that if he really had wanted to retire after 2006, it probably would've been better that he had.

Carr puts his foot down and tells Martin he's leaving. Martin has been too focused on the stadium renovation/luxury suites and is caught off guard. In the end we have to settle for San Diego's coach, who's relatively new to college coaching, but did well in the Pioneer Football League winning their 1st championships. Also, the guy has Michigan roots.

I can take solace in the fact that at least Bernie Sanders won't win the Dem nomination - at least the idiots on the left outnumber to really stupid ones....

And your party is going to nominate Donald Trump. So if us on the left are "idiots" and "really stupid", you guys on the right must be walking around with an extra chromosome.

And your fall back plan is Ted Cruz.

all 4 of them are an embarrassment.

Kasich still has a shot.

About as much of a shot as a flipped penny actually landing on its side, but...it's happened before.

Well, okay, in the movies it happened...

@ 6:25.

Jeff Smith would be a good name for a president.

I would vote for a guy named Jeff Smith.

Thought he'd do better in Michigan. That really bummed me out.

Kasich is the best qualified/prepared/politically accomplished presidential candidate in my lifetime.

I'm a little surprised people know as little about him as they apparently do.

Maybe there aren't that many moderate - moderate/conservative 55 year old life long politics junkies out there as I would have thought.

Yeah, I'm surprised he's had as little traction as he has...

But he's still in it...and in a contested convention, his claim of experience, bi-partisan success and elect-ability are as good as argument for the nomination as either of the other two have...

He's got my vote come November if he some how squeezes in.

And i'm not even 55!

Looks like maybe a brokered convention . It has not happened in a while but a guy on a radio show says it's not unprecedented. It has happened a lot and they guys behind delegate leader normal get picked as a compromise.

I like Ted Cruz - easily the best of all remaining candidates on either side. Kasich is currently second on my list but I want him to bow out because I think Cruz can beat Trump and the Democrat. And while I can't stand Trump and may sit out the general election, he's a better option or at least no worse than Shillary or the Bern.

maybe you can just think about the day RR was fired when bernie loses the nomination - in case one of your minions isn't around to rub your vagina.

If he's the better option, why wouldn't you vote for him?

Figures, the main guy on here bashing people who support Bernie isn't even going to vote. Way to exercise your right as an American.

because I couldn't stand him long before he announced he was running for president and because he's not a true conservative. I don't feel obligated to compromise my position on politics to vote for the lesser of two evils, especially since I live in New Jersey, a solid blue state so my vote in the general election probably wouldn't matter anyway.

I didn't say I wasn't going to vote. Voting is my right, not my obligation. I will vote in the primary on June 7th. But it's my right to abstain in the general if I don't feel there is anyone worth voting for and like I said above, if it's Trump, I may exercise my right to not vote. I wouldn't expect a sheep like you to understand that boycotting can be just as meaningful as voting. Way to understand the process and your rights, as an American.

I've been waiting for his swing to take the moderates. It's inevitable, I'm curious to see if he can pull it off. I imagine he waits until after he's locked in though.

Also applaud "I don't feel obligated to compromise my position on politics to vote for the lesser of two evils". You don't even have to justify it with where you live imo, people should always vote (or not vote) for who they think is best, the letter next to their name shouldn't mean anything.

well, if I lived in a swing state and felt the election was close I might make a different decision and cast a vote but it would be more of a vote against Hillary or Bernie than for Trump.

Fair enough. At least you vote (or have a valid reason not to).

I lit up several family members today that were shit talking politics ignorantly and haven't voted in 20ish years.
