BS

That's their joke of a formula that had UM ranked higher than us last season. Mans less than nothing.

With Narduzzi id say top 5 now id say top 7. We are going to win some football games.

Sports media tossing off to the SEC once again.

there's some quid-pro-quo flowing between the SEC league office and the sportswriters who overrank these teams.

some of those aren't even remotely justifiable. Tennessee has done nothing to deserve a #13 ranking.

both Vanderbilt & Kentucky ahead of Iowa... dumb.

even within the SEC their rankings have some head-scratchers: apparently going 0.500 or worse in the SEC last year, while playing nobody outside of the conference, means you're going to be REALLY good this year. Tennessee 13th), Arkansas (10th), A&M (8th), LSU (5th!), Auburn (17th) all ranked significantly ahead of Miss. St. (31st?), which returned most of its starters, has an easier schedule on paper, and went 5-0 against those teams (they DNP Tenn).
