That's right. Unless they changed, not a huge hockey guy these days. Thanks.

Hey, he is the best that I can remember! ...but I've only been really watching baseball hardcore since 2003. Yes, the season I started watching the Tigers instead of just following them was that extremely embarrassing season

Being a Commish is a pretty crappy job when it comes to having support from fans. There haven't been many commissioners recently that seem to get too much praise from fans.

Look at Selig's tenure though, Steroid Era/partially ignoring the problem, All-Star game decided HFA (stupid), wild cards (Wild Cardinals - amirite?) and several teams going backrupt.

Honestly, the guy does not have a lot to look back on fondly.

Yeah, no I'm not defending Selig, but with all of the coverage of sports, and with baseball not being the exciting sport of football that so many Americans prefer, it is tough to say. And the biggest names in baseball were the ones linked to steroids. It is a tough job to keep a balance between trying to win over fans and trying to do what is best for the game. Yeah, I dislike the All-Star game HFA thing. I understand why they tried it since the AS game wasn't getting any attention, but yeah, I wish it would get changed back.

The problem is that it is a business, and those decisions that pull in the opposite directions of Business and Integrity are extremely difficult to make, especially in a sport where the number of people who want it to stay the same is dwindling.
