Cap increased to 143 million

Good news for the Lions who need the space, and the players. Get ready to see new record high contracts for positions.

Not sure how good it is when other teams have much more. But the record high contracts are happening.

Lions are in the middle of the pack of space right now and could create 18 million more in space with 4 restructures. They could be at 33 million under. That's enough to give Suh 20 million per year.

I was going with the notion that extra money benefits the teams closer to the cap already more. Moving from 14 million to 17 million (21% more money) is more important than moving from 62 million to 65 million (5% more money) in Jacksonville's case.
