Capital 1 Bowl Mania

I get your side as well.

I do disagree that they are grown men. Some might be mature enough to be called that, but I remember people in college and grown men and women is not how I would describe the vast majority of them, including myself.

Also - unless a person bought into all that - why would a person go there? It?s a podunk little burg in the middle of Bible Belt! Sure they?ve been completing for national championships recently but it?s not the only place where there?s been competing for national championships.

You made a point in an earlier post, indicating that booster ?heavenly handshakes? might be a good motivator to get guys to just ?shut up and love Jesus,? at least until the time they get their NFL signing bonuses. ?I got two million dollars! Jesus and Clemson did great for me!?

The "heavenly handshakes" are the most likely reason Clemson blew up. From 1991 - 2010 they had zero 10 win seasons and it's not like Dabo was some huge name that recruits were fawning over. He was their WR coach from 2003-2008 when Clemson was decent. Not an earth shattering hire on paper.

The people that Dabo is recruiting are not grown men. They are recruited when in high school.

I don't really care that much about this situation, though. If they don't like it, they can transfer, I guess.

Nope

Western tried to lose, 12 guys on the field, allows WKU to hit 52 yard gw field goal

Twice the dumbfucks had 12 guys on the field and the refs let the 1st one go because the ball hadn't been set. They then proceed to keep 12 guys on the field, lol. But before that they were driving and their qb tripped on the turf, on a keeper, on 3rd and 2 at the 30. He probably gains at least 15xyds(possibly a td) and they kick a fg to win. Nope, they totally pissed this game away in the final minute.

Yeah. Illinois didn't do well today

I watched that game, because I saw Miss St go up 14-0 easily against Louisville. Turned it back and found out Louisville had reversed their earlier fortune and now they just won...barring a miracle.

dang it.

I took Louisville and all I could say in the 1st quarter was, why the fuck did I pick them? I must have had a brain fart and just wasn't paying attention. I got lucky and it worked out.

FSU scores twice and now its 14-9. ASU offense sucking big time. FSU picking it up.

ASU makes it 14-12 on a another stalled drive in the red zone. Redzone offense has been putrid. Herm Edward's has a problem calling long developing plays while inside the 20. QB sacked twice in a row.
