Casey Mize Erie debut

We may see them on September for a start but if the plan all along is not to spend money until 2020 or 2021 we might as well hold the clock back on these guys as long as possible.

From what I understand the top 3 are Mize, Manning and Perez. Fadeo and Burrows are a little behind those 3.

Ideally you would get your top 3 pitchers from those 5 and have Boyd and Fulmer fill out the rotation.
You're right I always confuse Faedo and Perez. But I like our young pitching.

Not a fan of holdings back. 22-23 is a good age.

September call-ups will be greatly diminished this year. Teams may expand the roster in September to just 28 players, instead of having every player on a team's 40-man roster eligible. They still have to be on the 40-man roster. Currently, of those mentioned, only Perez is on the 40-man roster.

AAA is for aging MLB players still trying to find a Major league gig and career minor leaguers. It is NOT generally a path for good players to make the majors, unless a team is trying to stall their service time. Most good MLB players never play at AAA or have very limited time at AAA.

Level Average Age

AAA 28.2

AA 23.8

A+ 22.4

A 21.2

A- 20.9

R 19.4

They don't have a lot of ready position players anyway. Daz probably

Agreed on AA/AAA

That's right they changed it to 28. Forgot about that. I think I like 28 better anyways.

We are talking just 3 players. As it currently shakes out, Cameron isn't even on the 40-man roster. So aside from Perez, it is anyone's guess.

Understood but it's also highly possible there could be injuries factored in. With a 40 man packed with AAAA guys.....
