Welp, he is at least breathing down Dirks extremely long neck...

I think breathing down his neck is highly overstating it.

We have a nice thing waiting for us later in the year or next season, but it's not likely he's going to displace Dirks without a major injury, and even then it's still not likely.

He might be but he's not ready. I kind of wish he was up but that would probably be wrong. He batted .264 with an OPS under .700 OPS in Erie, 322 at bats.

Send him down, let him rake for 3 months and see what happens.
