Cause for concern?

if i remember correctly, someone said that the patriots also haven't beaten a team over .500.

I've seen enough this year to understand that this is not the 2010 bucs team.

We beat the Bears and they would have been better than .500 without Cutler hurt? We shutdown Rivers when he was on fire. So, no, I'm not worried.

I'd maybe be concerned if we had a harder schedule but next year actually looks a bit easier

I don't care who a team plays; 10 wins in the NFL is an accomplishment.

true on all of this lol...dallas, denver, sd, oakland, kc..chicago.. were all fighting for playoffs..

with tampa of last year...7 of their wins were vs teams picking in the top 10 of the draft..with the other three being st louis, seattle, and new orleans...(and new orleans had a ton of injuries in their receiving corp if i remember right)

we have 4 wins within the top ten of this draft....lol so still tampa's schedule last year..was still a ton easier..

How many years ago was it that the Lions was 0 and whatever against above .500 teams, 0 and whatever against .500 teams, and 0 and whatever against below .500 teams?

It wasn't that many years ago.

It were not too bad of a year.

Me, I see the fuckin' glass half fuckin' full.

Go Lions!!!

No we are not the bucs. Unless CJ/Staff goes down with injuries we should fight for a wildcard spot again next year.

I look at the improvements the team continues to make. This year they won the close games they previously tended to lose. They vastly improved their Points For and with a solid FA and Draft they will likely shore up some of those holes on D. Most importantly, the coaches managed to find a way to get the guys to stop with the BS PF penalties after the whistle.

Is it possible they regress next year? IF they want to be the Same Ol' Lions, then they will regress as that is what always happens the year after making the playoffs. If they want to prove they are not, then they will win in the playoffs. I've been saying it all year, they are not the SOL, and trust they will prove that next year.

I don't really see us stepping back. Although, Stafford probably regresses a little bit next year, and we "tread water" and finish around the same spot.
