In the baseball championship thread, MichLady described the baseball season as having been bittersweet, and I think that’s the sentiment reflected by a number of us in this thread.

Champions Virginia, Clemson and Vanderbilt came in at 6th, 14th and 52nd, respectively.

The article doesn’t list big 10 regular season and Big Ten tournament champion softball as being a factor in the rankings.

I think they are right to "weight" football and basketball more heavily. But I don't think the put enough weight on those two sports.
