GB fumbles the ball at the goal line. It is ruled a fumble. They decide they are going to review it and since the review was initiated before McCarthy threw the flag they can go ahead and review it. Can you believe that shit? GB gets a 15 yard penalty but a TD...15 yards will be charged on the kick off. Aikman just says there are a bunch of people in Detroit who are pissed.

STOP HAVING GROWN MEN THROWING HANKIES ON THE FIELD!!! FIX THE SYSTEM. ADOPT COLLEGE RULES ALREADY.

When did that even become part of the rule? lol....they keep adding to the dumb rule just to make detroit look even dumber and so their beloved GB Packers dont get screwed. Shit is so fucked up.

I couldn't believe it no, what is it going to take to stop having Detroit get absolutely jobed at least once a year like this. unbelievable.

This rule sounds like a few 5 year old kids making up a game. If you throw the flag too soon then you can't look at it again. If you throw it too late you just have to go backwards 15 yards.

ok now the obvious question is how the fuck the referee didnt signal for the replay on a fucking touchdown play in the lions game prior to the schwartz flag?!?!?!?

Exactly, it should be instantly reviewed, no delay. Definition of Fucking Bull Shit!

Obviously this rule will change in the offseason but the NFL has to be embarrased on this one. An automatic review is an automatic review and should happen no matter if anyone throws a challenge flag or not.

The ruling on the filed is that since we are not in Detroit we'll allow for Green Bay to throw a challenge flag on a scoring play and still go ahead and review it. Next year the rule will change for all teams includeing Detroit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

At that time we will create a new rule no one heard of to butt fuck detroit out of another win.

oh you know it, the only question is what will they come up with next. Maybe they already laid the ground work for it today when they flagged us 15 yards for not running back in bounds quick enough. I've never heard of that one.

ya that was made up as well and is only supposed to be called if he purposely runs out of bounds. osgood has 2 gunners push him out lmao....fucking ridiculous call.

This was actually a legit call, I've seen it called before just the way it happened today. When the player is forced out of bounds like that the player must make an effort to come back in bounds, they can't just run all the way down the field out of bounds. Making it an unsportsmanlike penalty just seems a little rough though.

I believe it’s the Tasker rule? He used to run down the sideline through all the players then back in to make the tackle.

ya ive seen it called when the guy runs through the other team, around the gatorade bench, comes out the other side, and attempts to make the tackle. Osgood was BARELy out of bounds and not for very long. It happens every single NFL game....it was a BS call.

The funny thing is auto reviews for TDS and turnovers were made because Detroit got screwed Week 17 against Green Bay. They didn't have a challenge due to other bullshit with a Scheffler or Logan fumble couldn't remember that they lost and couldn't challenge the Titus Young TD. What does the NFL, changes the rules during the offseason but adds that 15 yard/no review crap. And somehow it doesn't affect the Packers losing the ability to challenge(though that was a TD by Jones). Clearly the TD by Forsett should be reviewed instantly.

Another showing of how irrelevant the Detroit Lions are. Nobody gives a fuck about us..lol.
