Calvin Johnson - WR - Lions
The Detroit Free Press reports the Lions are still hoping to sign Calvin Johnson to a long-term extension.
The sides have been talking all offseason, but an agreement before the start of free agency on Tuesday is unlikely. Johnson is currently set to count $22 million against the cap during the final year of his rookie deal, putting all the pressure to get a contract done on the Lions. Any extension would likely make Johnson the highest-paid receiver in the league.
