B1G is 0-2 in Bowls as of this morning, 0-4 if you throw Rutgers and Maryland into the mix. Now it's true that only the weak sisters have played thus far but our teams need to step it up. Who is it going to be?

Sparty... Always tough to win on the Left Coast and Stanford is no slouch.
Bucks... I suspect they're going to be still hungover from B1G championship game and end of streak.
Wisconsin... Best bet. Badgers will do what Michigan failed to do a year ago.
Nebraska... No way
Iowa... Highly unlikely

Appears to me that Conference fans need to prepare for another year of ridicule.

I had figured Minny and UM had 2 of the more winnable matchups too. The rest of the conference definitely needs to step up. Ultimately it'll come down to the BCS games and Wisconsin. At least in the Nebraska and Iowa games their opponents' quarterbacks are out.

As for Maryland and Rutgers, anyone else think Missouri would look a heck of a lot better in the Big Ten right now, number of TV sets for the BTN be damned?

I can't believe they added Rutgers and Maryland. Pathetic football schools!

It amazes me that so many people were predicting a 5-2 bowl record for the B1G this year. The B1G stinks. Period. I thought Minnie was the closest thing we had to a lock in the bowls but they got beat by a horrible football team. Now Wisco clearly has the best shot followed by osu and MSU. Even with Mettenberger's injury, I think Iowa has already lost and if Georgia takes the game half-way seriously after a disappointing season, I give Nebraska almost zero chance of winning (don't forget, their quarterback is out too).
