wondering the same thing - can the LAUSD override the governor's mandate? I know they own the guy and can get an exemption for their union but can they ignore the mandate for kids? Maybe they're just doing this for show so they can direct parents' ire at the Gov rather than themselves?

Maybe. Parents are upset.
If the school district chooses not to enforce the governor?s mandate, I don?t know that there?s much the governor can do about it.
Certainly the state of California has refused to enforce federal mandates.
Then some municipalities turned around and refused to enforce the refusal.
This was all mostly about ICE having access to local jails.
So we?ll see how it plays out.

Speaking with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News on Sunday, Dr. Ben Carson urged American parents to reconsider vaccinating their young children against Covid-19 after the CDC approved the Pfizer jab for ages 5-11 on Tuesday.
Dr. Carson, who was President Trump?s Housing and Urban Development Secretary and was formerly a surgeon at the John Hopkins Children?s Center, told Bartiromo the CDC should have ?absolutely not? approved the shot for young children.
?The fact of the matter is, the mortality rate for children from COVID-19 is 0.025, which is very similar to the rate for seasonal flu,? he explained. ?And we haven?t been for years and years going through all these things for seasonal flu.?
Dr. Carson continued, ?Plus, we don?t know what the long-term impact of these vaccines is. So this is really sort of a giant experiment. Do we want to put our children at risk, when we know that the risk of the disease to them is relatively small, but we don?t know what the future risks are? Why would we do a thing like? imagine if Newsome died after getting the vaccine... that would be like Christmas for the Right Wing's base... breitbart, daily caller, infowars, etc. would completely melt down.
I?m very familiar with that side effect, I?ve had a similar issue for years. In fact it was what I went to see my doctor about couple months ago, asked if I could get a medical exemption given history of issue. Was very disappointed in the answer. Only a specialist would be able to grant medical exemptions and he didn?t think my condition would qualify. I?ve spent years mitigating my condition and have it under control through natural solutions the last thing I want to do is run the risk of undoing years of work through a vaccine adverse GBS.
Your first thought was too bad he didn?t die so infowars could have a melt down? That?s sad man, you are just a sad person

Doctor Bradshaw is wrong.
Ivermectin has many uses for both humans and animals.
When a vet prescribes ivermectin to a horse for deworming, it?s a horse dewormer.
When a physician prescribes ivermectin to a human being for any malady, it by definition can not be a horse dewormer.
And then Dr. Bradshaw, the beakon of ration and logic and reason, oh and knowledge ? as in actually knowing what shit really is and what shit really isn?t - preaches against divisiveness.
I used to like him.
Now, I think Aaron Rodgers should have complied with protocol, NFL protocol I should say, if he wanted to play in the league and that was their protocol, and been honest about his vaccination status.

too bad he didn't get vaccinated so he could still get COVID just as easily despite being vaccinated, not know he has COVID and spread COVID at the rally and everywhere else he goes.
