Coronainsanity

I trust you?ll get through it and your immunity will be better than the shot.

Sounds like your wife?s survivability is pretty much a given so why don?t you give her your password here, so just in case you don?t make it she can log on and let us all know?

Good idea, I figure if I end up needing to go to the hospital it?ll be all over so the goal is to avoid that. Notifying everyone I?ve been in contact with over the past week now. Puzzled as to why my wife?s test wasn?t also positive. Keeping the oxygen levels up with baking soda water

So my test for covid was positive my wife?s was negative we have the 100% same symptoms. My best guess was she got hers too early before the symptoms really started to take hold?

She?s on day 10 I?m on day 5 were both getting through it.

my friend's wife (also in Michigan) just came down with it. no symptoms yet.

the new cases/day chart nationwide never dropped below the first wave (recently) but people decided it was over for some reason... the numbers are inching up again.

if you have it, you have it, but you could try to make sure you are at least circulating clean air through your home... so you're not reinfecting yourselves. vitamin c, vitamin d, fresh fruits and vegetables, drink water, eat chicken soup.

My uncle took a couple weeks to fight it off, and he was fully vaccinated.

saw a comment online recently that COVID is a contaminated indoor air problem, like cholera is a dirty water problem, and our approach (vaccinating our way out of it) would be akin to taking a cholera vaccine (if such a thing existed) while continuing to drink shit water.

We need better air filtration and clearing. and oral or nasal vaccines that fully immunize those parts of the body.. which I understand they're working on.

I?m pretty sure the immunity that is developed when the body is combating a respiratory virus will prohibit one re-infecting themself with their own viral load.

Cholera is similar to an ingested poison.

In The Princess Bride, the dread pirate Roberts slowly developed an immunity or a tolerance to poison by starting with very small doses and increasing the amount, but that doesn?t seem very practical.

Hospitals around here have a had a really rough last 6-8 weeks. ICUs full in most places, many aren't accepting patient transfers from other hospitals that can't handle particular cases.

For me it started with a very mild dry cough that I thought might have just been from dust as I had been working some construction Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday night started getting chills and fever and moderate body aches and said ahh shit. About 5 days after my wife had symptoms. Biggest issue right now is I do feel like it?s in the lungs a little bit at that stage we?re it?ll either take a turn for the worse or get better from here.. staying hydrated and eating nothing but Fruits and berries and drinking the tangy tangerine like a fish

Stay strong my dude. I hope you're already past the worst of it.

Thanks guys I?m feeling a little better this morning so far, just serious lack of energy, I do have zero smell and maybe 5% of my taste. I hear that can take weeks to return, I think I?ve slept more this week than I have in the last month combined. Lol

Austria brings back COVID-19 lockdown, this time for the unvaccinated

VIENNA, Nov 14 (Reuters) - Austria is placing millions of people not fully vaccinated against the coronavirus in lockdown as of Monday to deal with a surge in infections to record levels and the growing strain on intensive-care units, the government said on Sunday.

Europe is the epicentre of the COVID-19 pandemic again, prompting some governments to consider re-imposing unpopular lockdowns. Austria has one of the continent's highest infection rates, with a seven-day incidence of 815 per 100,000 people. read more

Austria is the first European country to reinstate the same restrictions on daily movements that applied during national lockdowns before vaccines were rolled out, though this time they only affect a minority of the population.

"We are not taking this step lightly but it is necessary," Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg told a news conference announcing the new measure, under which the unvaccinated can only leave their homes for a limited number of reasons like going to work or shopping for essentials.

Roughly 65% of Austria's population is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, one of the lowest rates in western Europe. Many Austrians are sceptical about vaccines, a view encouraged by the far-right Freedom Party, the third biggest in parliament.

Dude, I been thinking about you, and wondering how to prey for you.

I?m not not religious, but I?m also not atheist. I guess I could prey to a higher power that may or may not exist.

Or maybe the higher power already picked up on my thoughts, and interpreted it as a prayer, who knows?

I would miss you if you were to die.

Yours, forever and always, Tinsel.

My friend's wife & their daughter have it...they live in East Lansing. They think the daughter picked it up from school & gave it to the mom. Cases appear to be going up more in the midwest, as colder weather hits and people stay indoors with the windows shut.

If you want to ruin your weekend, look up some articles on the history of pandemics & plagues in humanity, and how long they lasted. Of course with modern air travel and trade, all that could be sped up...

We're probably in for several more years of this though. and if history is any guide, it very well could factor into societal collapse, and a reorganization of the world.

If those people touting their natural immunity stay away from the hospitals to heal in their own home, I'm all for it.

That?s what we are doing here.

We should also be doing much more to promote early treatment options like Zinc, Doxycycline, and Ivermectin Packets like they did in parts of India.

Been away for a few days due to a death in the family (not COVID) so I'm just catching up. Sorry to hear you're not well Mud, I hope you're feeling better soon. Sounds like you're making progress. Were you able to get any of the early treatments (monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, etc) or have you been making progress without them?

My wife and I both got Ivermectin scripts filled to have in case of infection but as I understand it, where we live it's very difficult to get monoclonal antibody treatments - have to be at high risk of getting seriously ill and it's not clear that being unvaxxed is considered in the high risk group, which IMO, kinda goes against their argument for getting vaccinated.

Sorry to hear that. I'll be praying for you. I haven't read much about it, but I've heard some people are doing some kind of taste training to reboot their sense of taste.

crazy.

My friend who had it several months ago said the loss of taste was unmistakable, and really surprised him. like the only way he knew what food was in his mouth was by sight.

makes you wonder what the mechanism for that happening is, and what other long term effects there could be.
