Coronainsanity

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2021-11-exposure-harmless-coronaviruses-boosts-sars-cov-.html

A history of regular colds help you fight covid. Obviously, not enough to have prevented what happened, but still interesting.

I'm 100% behind this. I always avoid/delay as much as possible taking cold or flu meds. They are designed to reduce the body's natural ways of fighting off diseases, which once I understood that (because schools, parents and doctors do not explain such things), I quit them and instead created what works for me. A 32oz bottle of Gatorade, lots of water, chips and spicy salsa, an organic tea that soothes sore throats, soups (chicken soup really is amazing at helping the body when sick)... any/all of that is better than OTC meds designed to reduce the immune system's natural responses.

Yes, in extremes one needs help, but I constantly hear of people going to unscrupulous doctors (usually Russian) to get Zpacs when they have a viral infection, which boggles my mind as those are for fighting bacteria not viruses.

And this is where modern medicine has taken us, to where people pop pills instead of naturally recovering. And it is mostly done to pump more money into Big Pharma.

There are some doctors with morals and ethics still. Those have been the ones criticized for being against vax mandates.

I'm actually a little surprised this article was even allowed to be published.

There's a great interview with RFK Jr by disgraced Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen. Well it's not so much of an interview as Cohen comes off as the complete idiot he is. It's really RFK Jr talking about big pharma's ties to the CDC and NIH as well as the big pharma influence in media coverage. Cohen makes some lame attempts to discredit RFK Jr by pointing out that Tucker Carlson is the only guy on TV who pays any attention to him and calling him anti-vax because the polio vaccine worked, but RFK Jr, who is a died in the wool Democrat and a believer in vaccines, dismisses those attempts rather effectively.

Apparently, according to Kennedy there are 4 senior officials at CDC that have patent shares in the Moderna vaccine. Each stands to make $150k/yr for life from the drug - doesn't seem at all like a conflict of interest for these organizations to be pushing vaccine mandates that enrich their employees. Seems like the kind of conflict of interest, big business corrupting government certain posters here would be lighting their hair on fire over. no way they would over/misreport deaths or under-report adverse outcomes from the vaccine.

When I'm home later I'll look for the link.

Damn... when a Kennedy is calling Emocrats put for their BS, that is when one's Oh-Shit-ometer should be red lining.

Many prestigious members of congress are investing in Pfizer and J&J ... I mean, this is not new, but tried-and-true back-scratching.

Link

I speculate that they and family members have the inside lane to stock tips and such.

I expect a serious third-party "Liberal-Peoples-Party" presidential candidate to separate from the Democrats in 2024. Just a hunch.

Kennedy was on C2C the other night also.

In the first half, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the chief legal counsel for Children's Health Defense, argued that Dr. Anthony Fauci and his cohorts use their control of media outlets, government agencies, and influential scientists and physicians to flood the public with fearful propaganda about COVID-19 virulence and to censor dissent. He further painted a picture of Fauci, the longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as benefiting financially (along with his associates) from their work with pharmaceutical companies and the promotion of vaccines, and their patent rights. Fauci and US government agencies funded "gain of function" research with viruses (making them more virulent or transmissible in order to study their effects) and worked with a Chinese military lab that sought to potentially develop bioweapons, Kennedy continued.

In discussing the testing of the COVID vaccines, Kennedy maintained that serious side effects like heart attacks were deliberately downplayed as part of a campaign of censorship, along with alternative treatments and therapies. Tony Fauci "has such control over the press...that no one is allowed to criticize him," he commented. Kennedy further suggested that the pandemic was being used as a pretext to institute "totalitarian controls across the planet and engineer a controlled demolition of democracy...and the obliteration of constitutional rights." He also addressed the assassination of his father, Bobby Kennedy, and his efforts to have Sirhan Sirhan paroled.

Here?s a funny one for ya?

Guy travels home to Ann Arbor from Hollywood with his wife where?s lived pretty much his whole adult life. After a miserable day of cross country air travel dealing with Covid travel regulations?gets a call this morning - everybody here has the Covid.

Check - that - someone has Covid.

According to Fauci, if you're vaxx'd and boosted, you should be fine so long as you maintain a minimum of 6' distance, wear 2 masks and limit your visit to less than 15 minutes. Happy Thanksgiving!

We were planning on using the indoor pool every day, so we used the pool today, the first time and it was fabulous.

With the airfare, hotel and rent a car, it will probably be the most expensive pool pass in the history of time.

you do? you just got boosted didn't ya, you'll probably be fine, I think the key is to not get pneumonia few people I know got the monoclonal antibodies, seemed to help them, supposed to help a great deal if you get it early enough. I don't know a lot about it or just what it is or in it. 1 of 4 I know in the hospital the one that had a comorbidity died last night. one other is not expected to make it now either. It's running rampant in MI right now.

taste has returned, smell not so much yet. still feeling some lung congestion but getting a little better each day. going to go for a walk today and maybe jog short duration's at a time as I go and see how it goes. hit the weights yesterday that went fine, then started felling a little faint after finishing up with 25 push ups, said OK that's enough for the day. In hindsight should have laid around less the first 5 days to help keep the crap from coagulating in the lungs maybe.. idk biggest issue for me with this has been the pneumonia like effects that didn't really start till 5-6 days in. Took and still taking a lot of probiotics each day seemed to keep it from getting too bad. Day 16 now and feeling pretty good other than the minor lung congestion still.

Sounds like you're making progress - glad to hear it. I don't know how hard it is to get your hands on but when my 86yo mother-in-law was hospitalized with pneumonia (test positive for COVID in the hospital) she responded really well to oxygen treatments. After the COVID diagnosis, they added Remdisivir and a steroid and she was out of the COVID ward in 5 days.

I'm not convinced her pneumonia was due to COVID - she had been bed ridden and not eating for a few days - basically doing exactly what you would do if you wanted to get pneumonia. My 80yo father-in-law tested positive as well (her home health aid tested positive so she probably gave it to them). He never really got sick, said he felt like he had a cold for a couple days.

Me?

No; I don?t have the Covid. One of my cousins. The other one is okay; tested negative, and the test of is we?ll have Thanksgiving in person: the other will join us on media; she?s doing okay. Regular flu symptoms.

I guess michigan is just a shithole state in a shithole country. I hope you survive it unharmed. Are you going to the game on Saturday? Sounds like could be 1 big COVID party.

Michigan is the worst state in the worst country there ever was - except for every other one.

I think I?ve said that before.

Even this game, I wouldn?t go to if I was just sitting in the bleachers, I would only go if I was sitting in some highrollers box via personal invitation.

We booked this trip the day before the first game of the season with zero expectation the season would it has.

Turns out the room we got free for Friday and Saturday is worth a mint.

One of the more jolting charts I've seen.
