The joke is you thinking we can actually stop a virus from spreading. Viruses are going to do what they do. Oh and did you know Viruses tend to mutate into weaker and weaker variants as their goal is not to kill it's host, rather to co-exist with it.
Viruses aren't magic, you fucking idiot.
They still obey the laws of physics.
We know this is transmitted by aerosols and droplets. Stop or at least limit the occurrence of those and the virus won't spread.
That idea all viruses become less virulent and lethal as they mutate is bullshit too. the only evolutionary pressure they face is they can't kill their hosts too fast, before the host has a chance to spread the virus on. That just means it's unlikely a COVID variant that kills you in a day will spread; it doesn't mean it will automatically evolve so as not to kill anyone.
Flu variants have killed 10,000's of Americans each year, for 100 years.
