Witha vast majority of deaths comming from the non vaccinated. Still, I didn't get very sick (I describe it as a mild flu), wasn't sick for long (~2.5 days of fever and aches, couple more of cold like symptoms) and now I have sky high antibodies without taking a vaccine that could cause mycarditis or pericarditis and who knows what else down the road - particularly if I were to keep loading up on a drug that doesn't stop infection or spread of the virus every 6 to 12 months.

But what you're failing to see - regardless - is how much worse it would have been if we HAD NOT done any lockdown. You're just looking at the fact that people still got sick and died everywhere as evidence it "didn't work."

And of course the virus hit parts of the country with lots of international travel (and denser populations) FIRST, and so comparing the lockdown results of NYC and a place like Tuscaloosa, AL or South Dakota is stupid. We have years of data on covid infections and who is being infected. We have 10 months atleast of data on several vaccines and how they impacted infections and deaths.

Real doctors will tell you Omicron is not any "less severe". It will infect more people and is likely that more people will die. There will be a lower death %. But again...people need to understand 3rd grade math in order to understand how that works....like numerators and denominators and effects when the denominator sharply increases. natural immunity means shit as perfectly healthy people keep getting it over and over again as natural antibodies seem to fade fairly quickly (varies greatly by the person but typically test results will show 0 antibodies after 3 months of being sick).

The last point is the most BS on your post considering Omicron has been here less than a month, has been the dominant strain for a matter of weeks and theres virtually no data on recovery for people that have antibodies from previous strains that literally just recovered from Omicron. If there was data like that avsilable it would be dumb because it would only include the people that just got sick and recovered. It wouldnt include any of the people that are still sick in the hospital...cause they havent recovered ...or died yet.

I chose a more proactive path. Social distance, choose not to go out at much unless neccesary, wear a mask, carry disinfectant, carry hand sanitizer, wear a rubber glove when i pump the gas. Very simple, little things that create 0 discomfort at all and promote not spreading a virus that could kill others. Luck is involved and luckily my family and daughter have not got sick. Therefor we havent had to look into doing any of the shit you described.

All thats going to go to shit now because people were whiny bitches for 2 years and now Covid will spread to all of us and cant be stopped. Im sure Mr Omicron is just LOVING all the new hosts and is stoked about all the new variants he will morph into.
