Coronainsanity

Then why do people always bring up statistics about how a majority of people that are dying are old? How does age have anything to do with it?... their lives are lost. Then they dig even deeper and say alot of that group of dead people have other factors. Who the fuck cares? They were living with those other factors just fine.... and now they are dead. Alot of these same ppl use these as excuses as to why not to Vax or wear a mask.... which in my opinion is a big fuck you to the elderly or those that are higher risk. You don't recall the "only the strong survive" narratives?

I'm not sure if the virus is becoming less potent as it mutates. Omicron was definitely killing people at a high number. Deaths slowed once vaccine take rates rose....kind of hard to prove which impacted the decrease in deaths more. Possibly both...

Maybe because it?s a fact. Some people like facts.

To my knowledge I have never had Covid, so I have personally never infected an old person with it.

Again, I don?t think anyone is of the opinion that it doesn?t matter that old people died.

There was no excuse to rob a personal liberty of people who were at very low risk.

Studies are coming back indicating that the lockdowns didn?t help anybody.

Tens of millions of people around the world have taken taken ivermectin before it was indicated for COVID. It won the Nobel prize for medicine in 2015. I?d been prescribed it by my dermatologist and was taking way before anyone ever heard of the corona virus.

I was amused when I heard former NFL QB Dr. Terry Bradshaw bitching about Aaron Rogers using Ivermectin for Covid. ?It?s a horse de-wormer!? He said.

Okay, that?s one thing it is.

Lots of meds are used for both animals and and humans, for a number of reasons.

Viagra was developed to treat high blood pressure, a lot of doctors have prescribed it to help old guys get a boner.

When a licensed MD prescribed Ivermectin to a human being for Covid, it?s a Covid remedy.

I would advise against giving Viagra to an un- neutered male dog.

Again... I'm going to disagree. Anytime anyone brings up the number of deaths the counter point made is a high percentage of them are older. That's... dumb.

Nobody is happy anyone is dying. People die, that?s a fact. Here is another fact ? even if old people die of something that isn?t Covid, old people die in higher numbers than younger people - of pretty much every natural cause. I guess young people might die of drug overdoses, or accidents caused by recklessness than older people.

Generally when an older person dies - this goes back long before Covid - it?s viewed as less of a tragedy than when a younger person dies - I think that?s a natural universal consensus, it?s not just people who have paid attention to facts and have paid attention to the science about the Covid are of this perspective.

Also, when somebody brings up the number of deaths from Covid, my first response is never to say that they?re all old people.

My first response is always to say that those numbers reported are bullshit.

I linked to an article regarding the opinion of Dr. Lena Wen, who also thinks the numbers are bullshit - again, over reported by magnitudes.

My guess is you probably didn?t read it.

Because you don?t care about facts.

And you?re calling other people dumb?

Never had it. Not that I don?t believe COVID is real ?that, I know.

I just don?t have time to be sick and spent much of 2020 & 2021 out and about and was caught off guard when my lazy co-worker in MN said he had COVID, again. Parents passing away in 2020, neither from COVID but that?s the first question I get asked. Both exactly 70yrs old and died of complications unrelated to COVID that does seem to cheapen or disappoint some folks ?.follow up has included, ?were they vaccinated?? to which I just shake my head because these people have clearly never been in an ICU or Hospice.

I almost died in 2020 as well but that?s another story and nothing to do with the Wuhan Bat Flu

But I am forever Grateful each and every morning, to just be alive, and that perspective I did not have at an earlier age/stage.

Actually I've heard all of this on here.

No, you haven?t. No one has said COVID isn?t real or that it?s no big deal or that they don?t care because it only kills old people with comorbidities. Pointing out facts like an obvious pattern that indicates certain people are more vulnerable than others is important - it?s useful in developing solutions to protect those people without taking unhelpful measures that do significant harm to individuals, society at large, the economy, etc.

Pretending you?re the only one that cares or you?re morally superior because you blindly followed bad advice is a losing argument but clearly you?ll cling to it to the end.

As I told you and a few others here off the board, I took my wife to the ER just a bit before Thanksgiving in the wee hours on a Sunday; we thought she had Covid or maybe a severe case of influenza.

Turns out she was going into septic shock.

Being forever Grateful is good.

What solutions? I only ever see you cry about the generally suggested solutions. That and you being the chief marketing officer for your horse dewormer.

Solutions like what they did in Florida to protect the vulnerable and allow everyone to live their lives. Giving the vaccine to people who were at risk and not forcing anyone to take it, especially people who weren?t threatened by the virus. That?s what I?ve been saying all along - never once said anything like what you?ve dreamed up in your head.

No, they haven?t, dumbass.

Dingleberry is one of my favorite words to call people it fits michchamp fairly well.

A dingleberry is a term for a small piece of poop clinging to the butt of a human or animal. It?s sometimes used as a way to call someone ?foolish? or ?stupid.?

Yes, I know what a dingleberry is, often called a cling-on which reminds me of the old joke 'what do the starship Enterprise and toilet paper have in common? They both fly around Uranus wiping out Klingons'

Credit where credit is due, I gave you a like on this for acknowledging that the mutations could also be reducing the number of deaths, although I have not seen any data, that indicates omicron is making or ever made things worse.

I am pretty sure I have never seen any Anti-VAX mandate person on this board say that the VAX was not a good thing for some people. I agree that it absolutely was.

People having an understanding of each side so they can atleast have a discussion is what is all about. Unfortunately our country doesn't feel the same way.... but that probably belongs on the repubtards vs wokeassbitches thread or whatever its called.
