Anyone on here plan on going? I'm considering making a drive down with a bunch of friends who still attend MSU. Doesn't sound like there are many student tickets made available to the schools (which is bullshit) so I think ticket prices (which are somewhat reasonable at the moment) will come up soon once the students can't get seats in their designated sections.

I'm going to pass on this, I went to OSU this year and that's it for me unless we make the title game. Of course I have young kids and it's tough to find people to watch them for 2-3 days so I can go to a football game (my wife is as crazy about MSU as I am so going solo is less of an option). If you're young and a recent grad, you should go, don't let much get in your way, sleep in your car if you have to. I have to be a little more selective, the Rose bowl was a must and the national title game might be too much to pass up.

They way I look it, if they lose to bama i will have saved myself a lot of cash to avoid the agony. if they win, I have another game to go to.

Can't say I blame you given the circumstances. I've already ruled out going to Phoenix, tickets are starting in the $800 range and it's not drivable. I think a group of 8 of us are driving it straight through and staying in a hotel near Dallas for a few nights.

When we won the NC in 2000 i had just started working in Chicago and had no time off, my company was really strict. I also wouldn't have had the money for a hotel either. I left a few hours early, drove from the northern suburbs to Indy, went to the game, stayed for the trophy presentation, etc, then drove back, got home at 4, was back at work by 7:30.

This is the best way to go. After losing in in the final 4 several times ive learned my lesson.
