The Michigan football team's game against Purdue at noon Saturday will be broadcast by ESPN2.
The Associated Press reported that ESPN has elected to show the Michigan State-Nebraska game in Lincoln, which also has a noon kickoff.
Michigan State (6-1, 3-0 Big Ten) comes into the game as the Legends Division leader after its dramatic win over Wisconsin. Nebraska (6-1, 2-1) is a game behind the Spartans after its win over Minnesota.

I will have to fight with my wife for the Big screen TV

yah i know. they're doing it nov 5th, too

and the 330 slot basically sucks balls

that's like 3 times this year they've done this...last week was worse with all the games on at 7 or 8 and pretty much nothing to watch all day...

Kansas State - OU is at 3:30, that sounds pretty good to me. It's the primetime games that are lacking next week.

Well since MSU beat UM and is ranked higher your wife deserves the TV

BUT

now you have an excuse to go get new flat screen before the weekend.

This just means you have the week to figure out some way to kiss ass (dinner, flowers, candy) so maybe she won't argue over the tv.

that game doesn't interest me. We'll probably muddle through the psu-ill game, but man, that just isn't inspiring to me.

I'd much rather see

Mich-Purdue
MSU-Nebraska
OH-UW

Now, how good would that be?

That is the tv we are fighting for... Normally she caves in to me... Because she gets up early to run and is tired around noon....LOL

I couldn't give a fuck less about watching any MSU game if they aren't playing Michigan. Michigan is playing again this weekend. That is all that matters.

The bye week sucked!

I want to watch Nebraska...they're coming up on the schedule.

I just don't even care what MSU does outside of when they play Michigan. It's not like they are ever a threat to win a national title or a BCS game, so I just don't care. I understand wanting to watch Nebraska because of them coming up pretty soon, but I've seen enough of their games already. Average defense, really bad passing QB, pretty good RB. To put it simplistically.

Right, this game has very big implications for Michigan.

A 2nd loss by MSU goes a long way in getting Michigan to the B1G Championship game. Still a longshot, but just sayin'. And not so sure we'd hang in against Wisky once there.

Well, we hung in pretty well against MSU, had a chance to tie with what? 7 minutes to go? and MSU just beat UW, so i know the transitive property doesn't work 100%, but if one can hang with one, the other should be able to at least hang...maybe UW isn't as good as we all thought...the only real big win on their schedule is their drubbing of a suspect Nebraska...

I'm tired of the noon kick-offs but at least the game is on ESPN and not BTN, much, much better HD.

Yes, we did, but the stat that has me worried is 220 yards rushing, 5.4 avg, by Wis against what I think we'd all agree is a stout MSU def line (minus Ghoulston).

I don't think our front 7 would be able to stop them.

Funny thing is they probably could have run for 400 if they run the ball more. Instead Belema insisted on making Wilson pass, which in my opinion, is the main reason UW lost. If they run the ball 60 times, they win that game by 4 tds.

Yeah, this is what I'd be afraid of if we played them.

I missed the second quarter and half of the third taking my daughter to her friend's house. When I left, WI was up and looking in control. I come home and Sparty is up and WI has gone away from the run. They did make it into a good game though.
