Paraphrasing:

So Megatron has over 100 catches and Stafford throws for 6000 yards, so what? What does that get you? They seem to lack something and I think it is the coaching. They are like a ship without a rudder.

A bit harsh maybe, but not too far off IMO. While it has been nice to see the FO filling some very big holes, will the coaches have the ability to maximize the talent and get the team to the playoffs again? Will the team continue to lack discipline? Will the coaches and coordinators improve their performances both in practice, getting the guys to optimal performance level, and games, not making mistakes that result in a loss instead of a win?

Maybe, maybe not. Still have many things that will happen across the league between now and the start of the season, not to mention the actual games that will truly determine whether they make the playoffs of not.

I don't know. IMO, we didn't have the talent to win 10 games in 2011. So how'd did we get there, coaching? Maybe not but we did..Bill Belechick sucked when he first went to Cleveland in the 90's. Sometimes it takes time for coaches to get it right, sometimes it takes a 2nd HC job. But the defense had so many holes last year, I'm surprised they won 4.

As for discipline, we lost our biggest offenders in cw, goz, and Peterman. No guarantee it will improve but that's a start.

Hes filled some holes in the past 24 hours but our success will largely depend on what other holes he fill via FA and draft. Its still not a complete team....a good start....but not a very good team. Offense will largely depend on how the new look oline works out. To me, if you still have crayola on the oline its not going to be very good.....which is why theyre probably thinking of putting Reiff at RG.....to cover for crayola's short commings.....no pun inteded. Defense still needs some major upgrades. Then lastly, health always comes into play for this team. And our depth still sucks.

Don't forget Young and Avril, plus Logan had some. But don't worry Suh and Pettigrew will pick up the slack.
