David Ortiz's temper tantrum

I can't fault him. That 3-0 pitch was a mile high. Ortiz had some interesting comments afterwards.

From the mid-1980s onward, the media reported "roid rage" as a side-effect of AAS.[67]
A 2005 review determined that some, but not all, randomized controlled studies have found that anabolic steroid use correlates with hypomania and increased aggressiveness, but pointed out that attempts to determine whether AAS use triggers violent behavior have failed, primarily because of high rates of non-partsipation

I'm with Timmons on this one. Ortiz practically left the box on the 3-0. He was moving out of his stance before the pitch was even delivered. There was no frame of reference for Timmons to judge the pitch, and I'd have called that a strike as well. The pitch box thingy had the pitch as borderline. Timmons let Ortiz rant all the way to the dugout and tossed him apparently after Ortiz went Capone on the dugout phone. Timmons also kept his mask on throught the rant as well. He was doing all he could to quell the situation and Ortiz would not relent. I think he should be fined for that outburst at minumum.
