Days of our Impeachment

Fix news and the GOP bandwagon in full form. Hypocrites all the way. Same old GOP Nothing ever Changes from that side. They are the worst political party we have every seen. Trump is a criminal and it is plain as day. He has used the office of the presidency that is cringe worthy. He is guilty and hopefully one day he will be in jail. If any democrat had done this there would be hell coming from the GOP but then are such phonies. Trump will go down as the most corrupt president we have ever had.. Not only should he be removed for his crimes he should be locked up. Easy to see if your not blinded..

What do you have to say about the fact that the House didn?t allow any rebuttal witnesses, called 8 witnesses but declined to call the guy they now want to hear from after they failed to make their case in the most one-sided, rigged impeachment possible? You?re ok with that right, because the e GOP is the most corrupt political party ever and it?s not even close.

Other than because they didn't want trump gloating during the SOTU and or that they are all just lazy I don't see why they didn't wrap this up last week. Two more days of complete waste of time senate grandstanding. Adam will now have two less days to pick that ball right back up in the house and get Bolton in to testify, by the time they submit new articles there will be such a low appetite for this continued crap.

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) took to the Senate floor during impeachment proceedings Tuesday and again posed a question he was prohibited from asking last week, concerning suspected whistleblower Eric Ciaramella?s ties to the National Security Council and possible motives.

Paul proceeded to read the question, which contained the reported whistleblower?s name, contending it did not concern a ?whistleblower,? but rather questioned whether the court was aware Obama holdovers at the National Security Council may have conspired to impeach Trump ahead of impeachment proceedings.

Now during the proceedings, I asked a question that was disallowed. And I?m going to ask that question again this morning, because the Constitution does protect debate and does protect the asking of questions,? Paul stated.

?I think they made a big mistake not allowing my question,? he added. ?My question did not talk about anybody who is a whistleblower. My question did not accuse anybody of being a whistleblower.?

?And you say, well we should protect the whistleblower, and the whistleblower deserves anonymity. The law does not preserve anonymity,? Paul stated. ?His boss is not supposed to say anything about him, he?s not supposed to be fired. I?m for that.?

?My point is, is by having such protection, such overzealous protection, we don?t get to the root of the matter of how this started,? Sen. Paul said. ??Cause this could happen again.?
Last Thursday, Sen. Paul?s question was refused after being submitted to Chief Justice Roberts, who presided over the proceedings.

?The presiding officer declines to read the question as submitted,? Roberts said, prompting a firestorm over whether the move was legal.

ha. The first movie was so good... sucks the other ones were so damn bad!

Not sure if there's ever been a more clear case of it becoming painfully obvious the screenwriters used up all they had on one movie. Or as some alleged... ripped off other, better sci-fi writers for one movie, and had absolutely nothing to contribute on their own for the sequels, and it showed.

But will the next one be any good?

It's kind of wild how this has all played out exactly like most people figured the Mueller investigation would if that had gone to impeachment. Cable news companies must be making a killing.

Movie trailers suck and give away too much plot. But it doesn't matter if people know the ending, they watch anyway.

Maybe he isn't the nice guy after all. He could be plotting to get the orange man out so he can run? Evil genius?

Maybe it wasn't that popular of story because it's a really dumb story.

I never even heard the story.

"Under the Presidential Records Act, the White House must preserve all memos, letters, emails and papers that the president touches, sending them to the National Archives for safekeeping as historical records."

WTF, he gets a note from some random person and it gets filed in the National Archives? What a waste of time.

well shit! maybe those house dems should investigate this paper ripping habit if true he had in 2018 and impeach him for it. I'm sure the public at large will support that!

I think it would only be a civil infraction at most.

Maybe just send a ticket in the mail.
