Magglio, I get, as he was coming off knee surgery but how was Pudge a risk? The risk with Beltran was that he might not be on the field much as opposed to standard risk in a free agent not producing. Every move a team makes has inherent risk, but Beltran has significant injury risk. Not the same thing.
