dee milliner? probably not

really ? Bobby Laynes in the HoF........

Good for his day, yes. Good record but terrible stats. Below 50% in completions and threw more picks than touchdowns. I understand it was a different game back then but damn.

Not the best of all time but he is better than we've had in a long long time.

That's like saying your Sebring is the best car you've owned in a long time when your last 20 were 200k mile ruster pintos and escorts.

Not a whole lot of competition

Dude, the guy is a good QB. Definitely good enough to lead a team to a SB. And its not like he's a half a peg better than Eric Hipple. More like 1000 pegs better.

Sebrings are good cars...they'll get you where you need to go, they're not kias and they're not vipers....and they're 1000 times better than any rusted 200k pinto or escort.

Lets put it this way Stafford>>Romo.

Lets put it this way Stafford>>Romo.

Based on what? Playoff wins? Division titles? Wins? Completion %? QB rating? Red zone efficiency?

Cuz Stafford doesn't win any of those over Romo.

Blah blah blah..that must be why he had the year he had I guess.

Romo never gets a pass, Stafford gets every excuse possible..I get it.

Larent Robinson was putting up numbers when he was in Dallas for a half a season and Romo at the helm.

Ignore the fact Romo has the worst Oline in football because I just assume you would..if Stafford played in Dallas he'd throw 10 more picks if he wasn't injured by week 6.

The guy might be the worse clutch QB in the league. Romo that is..

Romo and Stafford are pretty much even in my book. I would take Stafford just because of age. Both have put up some good stats but neither have accomplished anything yet.

Spoken like an ESPN news anchor... Romo routinely has gone on plenty of drives to win games and the defense loses it or a kicker misses the fg. Plenty of times where he's taken his team down the field with 5 minutes left to give them the lead, the defense blows it and then he doesn't get it done with 1 minute left and a timeout...I'm not saying the guy is clutch but he's not the choke artist people think he is. He CHOKED last year in Washington, I'll give you that much. As far as him and Stafford, neither have accomplished much of anything so if you wanna break it down to success outside of the playoffs, Romo has been better, period. Romo was better than Stafford the year Stafford threw 40 tds.

Lions fans will remember the time Romo single handidly gave the lions a win in 2011

I realize that...which is why most of them don't make rational statements when talking about him. His failures are more glorified than anyone I've ever seen I think.
