This stuff would still happen if they got paid and players would still take money. If people think that if they got paid even a grand a month more that they still wouldnt be looking for more they are sadly mistaken.

Yeah, but I've got another thread where I'm trying to argue that players getting paid, as bad as that might be, isn't as bad for the sport as the NCAA is. Any mention of the subject and people throw up the same old arguments they're used to making...just assuming they've got your side of it pegged already. Maybe they're so tired of seeing these arguments they don't even bother to read what they're responding to.

...so I wouldn't take that earlier post too seriously. There's a little sarcasm in there.
