Denver Broncos vs. New England Patriots

I think Panthers have a better team but I will be rooting for Denver. Would like to see Manning win a SB then retire.

This.

I actually lived in NC for 4 years.....(went to UNCW)....but have little loyalty to the Panthers. I would love to see Manning go out like Elway did (though I would hate the two weeks of media attention about that).

However, I think Carolina will be too much for Denver. But what do I know, I thought the Arizona secondary would be too much for Carolina WR's!!!!

I'm going to the SuperBowl.

I booked a flight 24-hours before end of AFC Champ game for peanuts between DEN and SFO and have a place to crash in Bay Area.

Now just need to get game tickets ...not cheap.

How much do these tickets cost?

Last season I saw tickets to the SB, ten minutes from my home, 800 bucks. Passed. I checked later and they were all over 2 grand. Should have bought some when I first saw the lower price.

SeatGeek and others like it have tix for $3000 and up but the Broncos have package deals that are better than that (not much cheaper). Heard from others that tickets will likely pull back a little once the enthusiasm wears a bit but that it's better to have them in hand vs thinking a last minute deal will pop up.

sad about the "average fan" being priced out but that's been the case for a long time now and I may never live to see the Broncos return ...two years ago I was laid up following achilles surgery and couldn't go even if I wanted to.

$3K...that seems crazy to me...but I don't even like going to NFL games when I have free tickets.

I'd go if I had free tickets, at least 3-4 times a year. But 2-3 grand is way too much for me. If anything I'd buy tickets early, and make a profit down the road. I imagine SF is a a place people want to come so prices are going to be huge.
