Detroit 5 Nashville 3 Final

I'm thinking we start by getting a win early. If you're a betting man this would be the game to do it, Detroit heavily underdogs.

Are you ready for some hockey..

AHL TV has a free weekend so maybe watch a bit of the Griffins. Start time is same time as the Red Wings though.. Maybe they have reruns.

Solid period. Preds had an obvious goalie interference on that goal. Howard made a couple really nice saves.

Btw, Bert and Mantha have the goals. The 1st goal was incredible play.

Also De la Rose got hit with a stick, a Cholo stick. He went off.

I dunno if I would call that a great start. Detroit was dominated at the begining.

Even their goals would be classified as 'lucky'.

The Bertuzzi goal was caused by referee blocking the clearing attempt of the Preds D.
The Mantha goal should have been stopped by the goalie. It was a great play and effort on Mantha, but Saros shoulda had that.

I heard that right ? Six wins in a row in Nashville with some pretty bad clubs.

Out shot 42-28.

Personally I thought it was a even game. Shots or whatnot Detroit played quite well.

Griffins win 8-5. Veleno and Zadina didn't have a point.

Edit: Though I wonder if they even played? How could you not get a point on 8 scores.
