Pride Of Detroit Lions Blog Podcast NFL Week 15 preview: How Detroit Lions? draft position can change this week. 36 minutes.
This week?s preview podcast focuses on Detroit?s draft stock.

It?s sad it has come to this. It?s Week 15, and instead of doing a typical preview between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Detroit Lions, we?re already talking about the 2020 NFL Draft. It?s a sad reality we have to face as a fanbase, but given the lengthy injury report, the 3-9-1 record, and the poor product the Lions are putting on the field right now, there?s really not that much to look forward to on Sunday.

So First Byte, again, is changing its format this week. For the first segment, we are talking about NFL Draft order. The Lions are currently fifth, but could jump as high as three by the end of the week. What are the key games this week? Who are we rooting for? And just how high can the Lions climb before the end of the year? Ryan and I break down each relevant team?s remaining schedule and the likelihood that they win or lose their remaining games.

Then we jump into a more traditional First Byte. We talk about the injuries the Lions are currently suffering from, and the players that could step in and make a late-season statement to the coaching that.

All that and much, much more on this week?s First Byte!

Who to root for?

Everyone but the Bengals appear to be catchable, but if the Lions ?slip up? and win, how far could they fall?

Breaking down the players to watch on Sunday.

Could Tyrell Crosby win the long-term right tackle job?

Detroit Lions Podcast Episode 246 ? Lions Look to The Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 55 minutes.

In this episode of The Detroit Lions Podcast, Chris and Case are together again to share the latest news and opinion on the Detroit Lions. The team is in an interesting position. Rather than just lament the team?s woes, we take a look at what this team needs to improve. This episode is going to set up a number of offseason conversations and help people start looking at options to get better. We also go in-depth on what a team in the Lions position should do with their remaining games.

Detroit Lions Podcast Talks Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
We also spend some time talking about the upcoming game against the Bucs, not to give it away, but we feel like it?s a game that?s going to come down to defense. More specifically, how each team?s offense wears out their defense by not being on the field. It?s a good discussion and should help prep folks for what?s to come. We also take a sneak peek at the draft, free agency, and the salary cap situation. These all feed into what might be the grander strategy about building this team.

The Detroit Lions Podcast also takes a look at Taylor Decker and Frank Ragnow and their production this year. Both may be doing much better than you think. A couple of bright spots on a team that really needs them. We also cover Fantasy Football and laugh at Chris?s over-reaction to the idea that the Lions haven?t truly replaced Calvin Johnson since he retired. Good job, /u/CalvinGolladay ? you got him good.
