Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Lions OC Jim Bob Cooter said he doesn't anticipate much game strategy changing with Matthew Stafford's injury. Wouldn't get into how Stafford has been throwing or what he looked in practice. Joked he might get his own custom glove, though.

EVALUATORS: G-MEN WILL BURST LIONS BUBBLE.
All three personnel men polled by Mike Sando sided with Big Blue at home on Sunday, with uncertainty about Matthew Stafford and the Lions' good fortune playing a major role.

Lions DC Teryl Austin said "we'll see" whether or not DeAndre Levy's snaps will increase this week. Said he helped the Lions win last Sunday. Said they try to divvy up the snaps by the quarter/half with him but depends on situation.

Based on what Lions DC Teryl Austin said, don't expect Darius Slay to travel with Odell Beckham Jr this week.
Part of that is because Beckham will go in the slot occasionally and Slay doesn't go there.

Ezekiel Ansah returns to Lions practice. Zach Zenner out of the no-contact jersey. Theo Riddick and Travis Swanson still not practicing.

Ezekiel Ansah upgraded to limited practice for the Lions.
