Detroit Lions - Team Notes

Jim Caldwell isn't concerned about looking ahead. Is just focused on getting better and Dallas. Said they've hit "one bump in the road." What happens next, Caldwell said, counts.

Jim Caldwell on why they didn't reveal DeAndre Levy's surgery when it happened: We stick with our policies.
Followed up with that they acknowledged Jon Bostic and Ameer Abdullah surgeries and why this was different. Caldwell said he sticks with their policies.
Levy is back and playing well now.

Jim Caldwell on Darius Slay's injured hamstring: "Check the report." Said it is up to the doctors as far as where Slay is. Had a hamstring issue earlier this year, too.

NFC NORTH RACE IS SUDDENLY VERY TIGHT.
Not only did Detroit slip out of the NFC's No. 2 seed Sunday, but Green Bay moved within a game of the division lead.
If the Packers win in Week 16, their trip to Detroit in Week 17 will decide the division.
