Jim Caldwell said games like Sunday are "a situation you've got to embrace." He doesn't think they'll be distracted by anything, though. Said they don't need much added incentive for this game.

Jim Caldwell said with positions like cornerback, you have to test a hamstring during the week in practice to see where he is instead of just holding him for Sunday, in reference to Darius Slay.

Jim Bob Cooter said he doesn't believe it is a sustainable strategy to play only one running back "70 snaps." This was in regards to Zach Zenner.

This will be the fourth consecutive season where the NFC North is decided in Week 17. The Packers won the division four straight years prior to last season. Detroit is hoping to take the title for the first time since 1993.
