Glover Quin was among the Lions not at voluntary OTAs on Wednesday due to a family obligation. The other Lions who didn't participate were RB Theo Riddick, OG T.J. Lang, OT Corey Robinson, DE Armonty Bryant, LB Tahir Whitehead and S Don Carey.

Lions HC Jim Caldwell said Theo Riddick is having "limited participation" in practice during OTAs. He's coming back from wrist surgery.

Lions HC Jim Caldwell said there was no consideration to signing Colin Kaepernick. Said he believes he's "capable" and that he doesn't believe his skill level has diminished to where he can't play in the league.
