Lions still have a top 10 defense per PFF.
Despite the recent struggles, the Lions may still have a top 10 defense.
The Detroit Lions defense has had a rough past two weeks, but the according to Pro Football Focus, they?re still pretty good. The analytics website has Detroit?s defense ranked 10th overall based on the average grade of each individual player. Although they?re actually ranked third in the NFC North with the Vikings (first) and Bears (third) grading out higher.

Despite missing last week, T.J. Lang remains a top four guard, according to PFF.

Ameer Abdullah doesn?t have great stats through six games, but he?s been dealt a pretty poor hand by his offensive line and has done admirably.
Ameer Abdullah is 29th in the NFL, averaging 3.8 yards per carry. According to PFF, he's 4th in yards after contact, 2.97 yards.

Detroit Lions Breakdown Podcast Episode #33: Week 7 Bye. 53 minutes.

The Lions record sunk to 3-3 on Sunday as they lost a wild one against the New Orleans Saints 52-38. This week the Lions are on a bye and get the chance to recuperate, so Erik and Joe will discuss how the roster can shape up by the time they play Pittsburgh?

The injury report keeps getting longer and now includes the names, Tate and Quin.

Transactions ? Newcomers Caraun Reid and George Johnson are gone as quickly as they arrived, Brad Kaaya is back and DE Jacquies Smith has been signed.

The Lions slip further in the power rankings.

Erik?s Studs and Duds article from Lions Wire is explored.

A big dip into the mailbag with a bunch of questions surrounding Jim Bob Cooters offense, also some talk about the state of the defensive line.
