This amount of time/weeks, I'm guessing Golladay has a Grade 2 hamstring injury.

Jim Caldwell on Brett Hundley: He's fast. "He can run. Can really run." Said he looks like he's hard to get him on the ground.

Lions DC Teryl Austin on not facing Aaron Rodgers: "We're not getting a break. We have to play better." Praised Brett Hundley's ability to run.

Jim Caldwell declines to really answer what's going on with Kenny Golladay but said he's had the right attitude and "approaching it the right way."

Jim Caldwell doesn't believe in a losing culture and while he didn't want to defend what he's done so far, he said if his team does things the right way, his team does OK.

Lions DC Teryl Austin said one of bigger differences for Darius Slay is that he plays with little-to-no fear. Said that's been a difference for him the last few years. Said it helps, when planning for a game, when you have a guy you know you can match up with a No. 1 WR.

Lions DC Teryl Austin on Pittsburgh's accusations of dirty play: "That's their accusations." Said he's talked with his players about issues -- three defenders ran onto the field and A'Shawn Robinson was ejected for throwing a punch -- and he doesn't believe they'll happen again.

Jim Bob Cooter asked why Dwayne Washington is his goal-line back: "Size. Power."

Kenny Golladay (hamstring) and Greg Robinson (ankle) don't practice for second straight day for Lions. Don Carey (knee) and Ezekiel Ansah (knee) were limited. Dwayne Washington (concussion), Emmett Cleary (ankle), Paul Worrilow (knee) all practiced in full.

Lions CB Quandre Diggs & Pittsburgh's Sean Davis fined $24,309 each for unnecessary roughness. D.J. Hayden, Cornelius Washington & Jeremiah Valoaga fined $3,037 for unnecessarily entering a fight area with no active involvement (they left the bench). A'Shawn Robinson, meanwhile, wasn't fined despite being ejected for throwing a punch against the Steelers.
