Matthew Stafford is sixth fastest to throw 200 career touchdowns.
The Lions have to be happy with what they received in the first half from the offense and defense. Detroit's offense showed balance (15 runs, 14 passes) and efficiency, with a successful red zone trip and two touchdowns in three drives. Defensively, Detroit had its first two sacks since Week 5 against Carolina and have generally been able to force Brett Hundley into poor decisions. After a lot of criticism from three straight losses, this is the best the Lions have looked on both sides of the ball in weeks.
Matthew Stafford moved past Kurt Warner to No. 38 in all-time passing yardage on his throw to TJ Jones in the third quarter. Warner had 32,344 yards passing. Stafford has 32,347 yards at the 5:29 mark in the third quarter. He has now passed two Hall of Fame quarterbacks Monday night -- Sonny Jurgensen and Warner.
Per ESPN Stats & Info, Matthew Stafford's 11.7 yards per attempt against the blitz tonight are more than double his season average entering this game (5.8).
Second straight year Marvin Jones has had two touchdowns at Lambeau Field. Last year was his massive 205-yard game. Not as big of yardage today -- but his touchdown catches were more impressive. He's been one of Detroit's most dependable players over the past month.
Marvin Jones Jr.'s two career games at Green Bay's Lambeau Field: 2016 Week 3: 38.5 FPTS (2nd-most in his career) 2017 Week 9: 29.7 FPTS (3rd).
It was one of the better efforts for the Lions on the year -- dominant on defense and a clinical performance by Matthew Stafford on offense. That's the type of game Detroit has to play in the second half of the year. Do that and a playoff berth is possible.
Lions QB Matthew Stafford completed 26-of-33 passes for 361 yards and two TDs in the win over the Packers. Stafford lit up the Packers blitz looks and found Marvin Jones twice on end zone throws to beat man coverage.
